ENTIRE EU DEBATE A SMOKESCREEN

EUSSR CONTROLLED BUREAUCRATS RUN BRITAIN
Steve Hilton (pictured) stated that No 10 is frequently left out of the loop as important policy decisions are pushed through by 'paper-shuffling mandarins'

The constitutional rule used to be clear: civil servants advise, but ministers decide. However, according to astonishing remarks made by former prime ministerial aide Steve Hilton, the reverse now appears to be true.

If it is correct that the first the Prime Minister knows about many of the policy decisions made in his Government’s name is when he hears about them on the news, it is profoundly shocking. This not only signals the triumph of bureaucracy, but also the defeat of democracy.

But the most worrying assertion by Mr Hilton is that perhaps 40 per cent of Whitehall activity takes place on the direct order of Brussels, by-passing our representatives in Parliament altogether.   READ MORE

LEAVING THE EU...NEW FILM
Interesting facts on trade making any sane person wonder why on earth we are in the EU. We are the EU's biggest customer...world-wide...and yet Norway and Switzerland (NOT EU members) export far more to the EU, in relation to their GDP, than the UK. The rest of the world can trade with the EU without membership. It is estimated that the ongoing annual cost of UK's membership of the EU could be £140 billion...or more.  FIND OUT MORE BY WATCHING THIS SHORT FILM

£2,500 PER FAMILY: UK'S BILL TO PROP UP THE EUROZONE HITS £65 BILLION
Britain’s bill for bailing out the eurozone is likely to soar to £65billion after the International Monetary Fund announced yesterday that it needed more cash.
The huge total amounts to around £2,500 for every family in the country.
The IMF announced plans to set up a one trillion dollar rescue fund, even though eurozone countries have failed to create their own ‘big bazooka’ mechanism to prop up the single currency. READ MORE

THE END OF THE EURO
The euro wasn't meant to survive indefinitely because it was just a means to delete a stream of European currencies on the road to a single global electronic currency. So the euro will collapse at some point, though not necessarily tomorrow, and it will be done systematically in the same way that the current crisis has been coldly engineered as a Problem-Reaction-Solution to impose still greater centralisation of power in the EU.

The euro was a doomed project from the start, and now we are starting to see the endgame play out. Today, the euro fell to an 11-month low against the U.S. dollar. As I write this, the EUR/USD is at 1.2983. Back in July, the EUR/USD was over 1.45. As panic has swept the financial markets, the euro has lost more than 3 percent over the past three days.  David Cameron is facing renewed demands for a referendum on Britain’s future in Europe after Germany and France unveiled the biggest shake-up of the EU in a decade.

EURO COMMISSIONER WARNS OF EU BREAK UP
'European Economic and Monetary Affairs Commissioner, Olli Rehn, has warned of the European Union break up if member countries fail to undergo on a much deeper integration.

“Economic and monetary union will either have to be completed through much deeper integration or we will have to accept a gradual disintegration of over half a century of European integration,” AFP quoted Rehn as saying to the European Parliament on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Germany and France are pushing for changes to the EU's Lisbon Treaty, as more integration may have to be accomplished through a change to the treaty.' READ MORE

GERMAN MINISTER TELLS CAMERON THAT UK WILL HAVE TO JOIN THE EURO
Germany last night declared that Britain would be forced to scrap the pound and join the euro – as David Cameron returned home empty-handed from crisis talks in Berlin.

In a highly-provocative intervention, German finance minister Wolfgang Schauble suggested the UK’s struggling economy meant the pound was doomed, and urged the Prime Minister to back Europe’s ailing single currency.

Mr Schauble said the euro would emerge stronger from the current crisis – leaving Britain on the sidelines unless it signed up. He said Britain would be forced to join ‘faster than some people on the British island think’ – despite a pledge by Mr Cameron never to do so.' READ MORE

As the crisis in Greece deepened Mr Barroso told the European Parliament: "We are confronted with the most serious challenge of a generation. "What we need now is a new, unifying impulse, a new federalist moment - let's not be afraid to use the word.' READ MORE
